Kabayani Party Building Workshop....What 's next?

Everyone is all set for the workshop to be conducted by the Ateneo School of Government. During the first meeting between Associate Dean Dennis Gonzales and MCF's Consultant Prof. Toti Dulay, Dean Gionzales said that "before the party should go to its grassroot political program, there must be a meeting of the minds of the leaders of the party as regards to the party vision and direction." Hence, the seminar was planned.

Several meetings and preparations happened among the team of organizers. Finally, City Administrator Melvin A. Cruz has to issue the final invitation for the participants:

Earlier, Prof.Toti Dulay of the Second Congressional District of Marikina, texted Mayor Marides Fernando:

"Mayor, good morning po. While Melvin and Pareng Ben Gana are busy finalizing our Kabayani candidates, Aurma and Deanna busy with the preparations for the seminar, may I float another project? Habitat for Humanity and Kabayani housing for the poor. Demy Posadas of the Habitat want to meet us. Pwede ka ba mam Friday in your office?

Mayor MCF texted back:

"am out of town friday maybe sometime monday next week/call joyce for sked"

So, whats next for Kabayani?

Depending on the outcome of the seminar... maybe Kabayani has to handle first the Barangay Elections. Then, grassroots political consolidation with the newly elected barangay officers, probably through an anti poverty project earlier proposed, together with with a purok level Kabayani reorganization, as earlier proposed also. Plus, national media high impact projects like partnership with Habitat for Humanity... to project the Kabayani and our Kabayani national level standard bearers, (and those local leaders who may not be accomodated in the local slate in 2010 and will have to pursue national public service career instead with the help and endorsement of Kabayani), to the national consciousness. Or, a partnership with Asian Institute of Management Policy Center to train local government executives of the "Marikina Way".... Now now now, Kabayani is getting national na talaga....

Well, of course, this is depending upon the result of the workshop and the decision of the top party leaders. Pero buti na yung may game plan kesa sa wala.
