In my personal opinion, I think that Bayani Fernando has all the potentials of a good public servant. We can see his determination to improve our declining country. Although he is the type of person who is somewhat discreet when it comes to other matters. But all in all, I must say that if he decides to run in any position, he's sure to have a good position. If there is one public official in our country today who does his work seemingly without regard for the political consequences, that person has to be Bayani Fernando, the current chair of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA). In a just society, he would be a model public servant. But in our kind of society, he can only be the blind, uncaring agent of the powerful.

honestly, i don't have much information about Bayani Fernando, except for the fact that he is the present MMDA Chairman and i've heard some of his projects for the metro manila. I've browsed some information about him in the net, i've learned that he became the city mayor of Marikina in two consecutive terms and altered the known rape capital before into one of the country's model cities. Through this, i can say that he has the capability to handle our country. But i can't decide yet if he's the best one to be the president due to the lack of knowledge about him. But based on what i have read, he is a man motivated with his aspiration to help people. If he's really deserving and has a heart to be our nation's president, then let it be. I guess i have to learn more about this MMDA Chairman, he seems to be different from other politicians. :)

I want Bayani Fernando to be the president. He is really sincere in his work. He is strict and responsible in his area. He is known as one-word-man because he really does what he said, you have to follow his rules or else you will be punished. As we all know, he led Marikina for many years and we witness the result of his leadership. So where is Marikina now? It is really known city for gaining various awards and for being one of the most developed city in the country. Bayani Fernando is a builder of character because in his place in marikina, when was still the mayor of marikina, he was able to discipline every people living in marikina. I think he have many plans in our country and he will be a good leader in the future. BAyani Fernando is not just a MMDA Chairman but a president of the philippines.

I will definitely vote for Mr. Bayani Fernando. My whole family really admires him and his principles. Just look at what he's done to Metro Manila when he was the chairman of MMDA (Metro Manila Development Authority). He concurrently holds the position of director of the Department of Public Works and Highways for the National Capital Region and everybody could see the good changes that he's brought to the field. In my own opinion, he really did well in serving Marikina City, being the mayor of the place, most especially in encouraging its people to maintain the peace and cleanliness in the area. Marikina is well known for its cleanliness and people from the outside admire Marikina community for being disciplined. I really look up to Mr. Fernando and i could say that he's been making difference in our country at present. He would surely make a good president!!! Our country needs a leader like him.

I believe to the values and basic rules and regulations that Hon. Bayani Fernando is implementing in the streets of Metro Manila nowadays. Basically, if he can enforce traffic law in the metro, then he is capable of applying the law across the country by constituting the legality that he imposes. Furthermore, Poverty is not an easy task that can be eliminated, it takes an effective and trusthworthy cabinet and allies to promote the elimination of poverty in the country. Since, He himself as a man cannot uphold easily programs that will help eliminate the pangs of poverty.

If the current chairman of MMDA, Mr. Bayani Fernando will have an opprtunity to win the forthcoming Presidential elections on 2010.
I believe that the first thing that he will do is to focus on implementing programs that will lessen poverty across the country. I know that he can provide the basic necessities of out fellow filipinos considering his past political experiences, as a former mayor of marikina city. but definitely, it still the people's choice.
Yes, I strongly agree for Mr. Bayani Fernando to run for presidency in the upcoming elections. Eversince I was born, I was living in Marikina. Before, Marikina was very famous because of its high crime rates and the likes. WHen Bayani started his term. He made a quick transformation into it. He gave his best shot just to improve the city. Now, It is considered as the 3rd most competitive city in the whole world and he ended his term years ago. But his legacy was continued by his wife MCF(Marides-Carlos Fernando). Now that he is the MMDA chairman, his performance is very astounding and I think he will be the solution to our Country's Problem. I know he will give us filipino's the service that we deserve....

I think that Bayanani Fernado could be a good president and I will vote for him. As MMDA chair, Fernando replicated his Marikina formula on a much larger scale, in major streets of the rest of Metro Manila. As the scope of his functions grew, so did his media projection. The new, sanitized look of Metro Manila sidewalks cleared of vendors soon earned him the status of Philippines. He can do a lot of things if he will be the next president of the Philippines.

Bayani Fernando is a good leader. As the MMDA Chairman, we observed that he did a lot to Metro Manila to make it clean, in order and the people will have discipline. But we can not deny the fact that some people do not like his style. Like the pink fences which drivers blame those fences if there is an accident,the street side vendors that the MMDA Staff always push away, and the bill boards that can only be noticed if there is a typhoon or someone get accident.

i think if bayani fernando will run for presidency he will not and definitely will not win..because he's so not for "masa" he's very bad especially in treating those vendors who is just living in a way that they know and let just say in a manner that they will not definitely not harm or steal from other.. thought it is his work to follow the rules in traffic regulations he should have set up a place where this small vendors could sell there products with a free rent.. if he would like to dimolish some squatter area he should have an early notice and a proper place where he could put those people affected.. a say this because most voters came from the lower lower class!!!

Well, Bayani Fernando did and still doing his best as the MMDA Chairman. What he already did was a li'l bit excellent because there's a li'l problem about his MMDA traffic enforcers because some of them is not doing their job in a fair manner.
BF has a potential to run to the upcoming 2010 Presidential Election but still we're not sure if his going to get that position.
It's up to the voters who'll they want to be the president.

Mayor Bayani Fernando really knows how to discipline his people, we have seen him work as the mmda chairman and as a mayor, but taking on the philippines is a big leap, it is a far more bigger responsibility, the philippines needs a lot of work. His ability to discipline people is one of the qualities a potential president must possess, but unfortunately, most filipinos, being stubborn as they are, hate being disciplined, which is sad but true. Kung gusto nating umunlad na talaga ang pilipinas, 2010 is the right time, and BF or Bayani Fernando is the right person to elect as president. Peace & Order ang kailangan para umunlad ang pilipinas, at higit sa lahat, disiplina ang kailangan sa mga pilipino, at si bayani lang ang makakagawa nito dahil isa rin syang disiplinadong tao.
